8 Day Lake Mburo, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Parks
Day 1: (...) Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet & greet by your driver/guide and transfer toyour Hotel for overnight. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 2: (B/L/D) Leave after breakfast at (8:00am) and proceed west to Lake Mburo National Park via the Equator and Masaka. Stop at the Equator to take pictures. Lunch at Mantana Safari camp in Lake Mburo National Park. In the afternoon, you will have a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Safari Camp.
Day 3: (B/L/D) Early breakfast, followed by a game drive as you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Stop for lunch at the White Horse Inn in Kabale. After lunch, continue for the drive to Bwindi getting there in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day 4: (B/L/D) After an early breakfast, start gorilla tracking at 8:00 a.m. in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. We recommend you to wear good walking shoes and carry good rain gear and enough drinking water. Tracking can be tough and so we trust you are in reasonably fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch with you into the forest and you will be thrilled to have seen these rare primates (no guarantee) and the return journey will be easier. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day 5: (B/L/D) After breakfast, taking a packed lunch with you, leave Buhoma for Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will be fascinated with the Banana plantations that grow in the hills and valleys. Enjoy your picnic lunch somewhere convenient, game drive en-route to Mweya Safari lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge
Day 6: (B/L/D) Early morning cup of tea or coffee followed by a game drive in the park. Get back to the Lodge in time for breakfast, the rest of the morning at leisure and perhaps a dip inthe pool or another game drive. Lunch at the Lodge and afternoon boat (Launch trip) on the Kazinga Channel which is the river that joins the lakes George and Edward, to see a variety of wildlife, hundreds of hippos, crocodile and bird life. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya safari Lodge.
Day 7: (B/L) Leave after breakfast with packed lunch for the return journey getting back to Kampala in the late afternoon. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 8: (B) Day of departure, If departure flight is in the afternoon, there is a possibility to tour the Uganda Wildlife Educational Center (formerly called the Zoo) and the Botanical gardens. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight.
The Safari price includes: • Bed and breakfast accommodation in Kampala. •Full board Accommodation while on Safari. • Park entrance fees. • 1 Gorilla permit per person (Subject to availability) • Launch trip on the Kazinga Channel. • Internal Transportation for 8 days in a 4WD, inclusive of fuel. • Drinking water.
