6 Days: Gorilla Safari Day 1: (…) Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, met by your driver/Guide and transferred to your Hotel that is an hour's drive from the Airport. Overnight at your Hotel .
Day 2: (B/L/D) Leave after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and proceed to Kabale, the southern end of Uganda. The journey takes approximately 7 hours; stop at the Equator (Kayabwe village) to take pictures and lunch will be in Mbarara. After lunch, proceed to Kabale driving through low lands and hills with terraces. Dinner and overnight at White Horse Inn, Kabale.
Day 3: (B/L/D) Morning at leisure, or have a drive to lake Bunyonyi to have some nice views of the area. After an early lunch proceed for a 4-hour drive down to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, driving through villages as you wave back at the ever-smiling locals, arriving there in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day 4: (B/L/D) After an early breakfast, start gorilla tracking at 8:00 a.m. in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. We recommend you to wear good walking shoes and carry good rain gear and enough drinking water for the day. Trekking can be tough and so we trust you are in reasonably fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch with you into the forest and you will be thrilled to have seen these rare primates (no guarantee) and the return journey will be easier. Porters can be hired to carry your packs if required. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Forest Camp
Day 5: (B/L) Depart after an early breakfast from Bwindi to return to Kampala. You will be provided with packed lunch from the camp for your return journey getting to Kampala in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight the Speke Resort & Country Lodge.
Day 6: (B) Day of departure, If departure flight is in the afternoon, there is a possibility to tour the Uganda Wildlife Educational Center (formerly called the Zoo) and the Botanical gardens. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight.
Cost of Safari includes: •&11 November, 2003l board Accommodation while on safari. •Lunch in Mbarara on day one. • One Gorilla permit per person (Subject to availability) •Park entrance fees • Internal transportation for 6 days in 4WD, Inclusive of fuel.
