Kibale Forest and Lake Mburo National Parks .
Day 1: (…)
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport , to be met by your driver/Guide and transferred to your hotel that is about an hour's driver from Entebbe International Airport .
Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 2: (B/L/D)
Leave after breakfast at 8:00 am and proceed via Mubende, Fort Portal to Ndali Lodge, which is about one hour drive from Fort Portal town. Lunch will be enjoyed in Fort Portal at the Gardens Restaurant, Ndali lodge is situated on a 1000-acre private estate over looking a beautiful crater lake on one side and on the other side the Rwenzori Mountains .
Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge.
Day 3: (B/L/D)
Early breakfast and then proceed to Kibale Forest which is the best place in Uganda to see Chimps and a morning walk through the forest combines chimp trekking with a selection of forest birds. Return to the Lodge for lunch and afternoon at leisure. Walk around the villages or visit the near by waterfalls or paddle in a dug out canoe on the crater lake. Or carry packed lunch with and after the forest work; go for a swamp walk in Magombe swamp getting back to the Lodge in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge.
Day 4: (B/L/D)
Breakfast at leisure and with your packed lunch; travel eastwards through open plains and rocky hillsides of Kamwenge, Ibanda and Mbarara to Lake Mburo National Park . Your driveis punctuated with several stops to see the art of the creator. Enjoy the fabulous nkole long horned cattle, game drive en-route to Mantana Safari camp with a nice view in Lake Mburo National Park. Time allowing, a game drive to be done.
Dinner and overnight at Mantana Safari Camp.
Day 5: (B/L/D)
Early breakfast followed by a morning game drive to look for the gorgeous Eland, Zebra, Buffalo , Impala, Topi, Reedbuck, Bushbuck, Waterbuck and lots of birds. Lunch at the Camp, followed with a late afternoon game drive or a boat ride on Lake Mburo .
Dinner and overnight at Mantana Safari Camp.
Day 6: (B/L/D)
Morning at leisure and then with your picnic lunch leave Lake Mburo National Park at about 10:00 Am. for the return journey. Stop at the equator for a historic moment, taking Photographs of yourselves, getting in Kampala in the late afternoon.
Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 7: (B)
Day of departure, If departure flight is in the afternoon, there is a possibility to tour the Uganda Wildlife Educational Center (formerly called the Zoo) and the Botanical gardens. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight.
